Well, hello loving spirits.. How was your Valentine’s day? Were you able to connect with your loved ones here on earth and in Heaven? I must say that it does not take a special holiday to be able to do that, but it is nice to have a day to commemorate the unconditional love one has for family and friends. 🙏🏼❤️😍❣️
I must say that my Valentine’s was filled with so much joy — our son, Nicholas was born this day, so we celebrated his day with family. Watching him smile made my day, as being a teenager and going through this pandemic, in addition to his own emotional battles is worrisome. As a parent, we all must agree, that it is definitely hard to see our young generation struggle with present societal issues in addition to their own personal battles. I am fortunate to be able to help my son navigate through his own life’s journey with the aid of all these beautiful crystals. I love to see that my love for these gifts of God, has truly helped him in his journey. The most important thing is that he also notices it. I think as a parent, it is our responsibility to find what works best for our young ones and start them young. In my last reading, Spirit’s message was that we are all born to be warriors and what defines each and every single one of us, like our fingerprint—different and unique —is our own battles, our own scars, our own actions, reactions and consequences. Jade, historically esteemed by the elite, mainly within the Chinese culture, was then and still to this day prized for its beauty and metaphysical healing and protective properties.
Jade is an exceptional tough stone and historically favored for the tools of primitive people for its versatility usage as weapons, beauty products, carved jewelry, home products and musical instruments, to name a few. The various types of Jade and Jadeite are still prized for their healing and protective properties, and new aspects of their spiritual energies are also being discovered. In discussing metaphysical properties, we will discuss today both types of stones, Nephrite and Jadeite, as Jade.

Mineral: made up of two materials finely interlocked— Nephrite, a calcium magnesium silicate

Hardness: 6.0 or 6.5-7 (Jadeite)
Color: white, deep green and creamy brown and Jadeite which generally can be found in a leafy green, blue-green, emerald green, lavender, greenish black, deep emerald green or black.
Name Origin: Jade gets its original name from the Spanish term piedra de yjada (or lapis nephrictus in Latin ) by the Spanish Conquistadores who originally found and brought Jade to Europe from Mesoamerica in the early seventeenth century. Then brought to France where the French accidentally named Jade ‘Pierre le jade,’ by a simple error in a French translated publication.
Place of Origin: historical findings dates back to the seventeenth century where Chinese culture favored the stone and labeled as ‘nephrite,’ from the Latin. Although these nephrite contents looked similar, they were different identity and materials from the original American Jade. Later in the mid-1800’s, findings of a similar stone content, Burmese stones, were found in the marketplace, indicating of having similar content as the original American Jade, calling them, Jadeite.
Deposits: Today, Nephrite is found in British Columbia, California, Wyoming, Alaska, New Zealand, China, Russia, Taiwan, Poland and India. And the main source of Jadeite is Burma, but it can also be found in Guatemala, Russia, California and Japan.
