With all that we endured this year, we are so anxiously waiting for this year to end and start 2021. There is a lot of excitement in the air, as Astrologers believe that, 2021, promises to be a year that marks a new beginning, a new Astrological cycle and Age — The Era of the Aquarian Age. This Era is said to be in transition and finally ushered with the most recent great planetary conjunction — the aligning and blending of the energies of Saturn (♄) and Jupiter (♃) in Aquarius (♒︎) at 0 ° on December 21st. Astrological Cycles go about an estimate of 2,000 years or so, so for the past two thousand years and some, we have been in the Era of Pisces Age, which was all about structures, religion, beliefs system and so forth.
But, why are Astrologers so happy about this new Astrological Cycle? Well, it is said that the Aquarian Age, will bring forth the big shift, the moment of solidarity, humanitarian and social movements, collaboration and most of all, FREEDOM — all the qualities of the Zodiac sign of Aquarius, an Air sign which is ruled by Uranus, the planet of the Awakener. Uranus’s energies emphasizes freedom at all cost, improvement, originality, uniqueness and technology advancement but less emphasis in structure and religion; all these energies that we seem to sort of experienced within this past year.
The down side of this conjunction, is that Saturn is all about restrictions and Jupiter is all about expansions, so although one might be yearning for bigger and greater things, Saturn can restrict you from getting it, making it hard for one to achieve all based on Karma. And, we might still experience power struggles and issues of control, and ego minded sort of energies. So, don’t be surprised to hear of restrictive social chaos wanting to be free.
The other emphasis in the month of December is that on Dec 21st, also marked the beginning of the Winter Solstice here in Northern Hemisphere (Summer Solstice in the Western Hemisphere), indicating a time to renew our energies, rest, hibernate, leave behind what no longer serves us and perhaps reflect back on time and yearn for a new and fresh beginning.
Furthermore, On Dec, 29th or the 30th, depending on your time zone., we will experience the full moon, happening in the Zodiac sign of Cancer (♋︎) in it’s 4th House. These energies are going to be intense for the collective, specially those with Cancer in their birth chart. This full moon will emphasize what it is more important in our lives, which is home, family, and how to provide a safe and abundant environment for our loved ones. Since Cancer is a water sign, and ruled by the moon, your intuition levels will be at its highest peak and so will your emotions. So, be in the look out for how your are feeling these days, don’t get mad and angry since you might feel a little sensitive and yes, follow your intuition.
My recommendation to you is to try to mediate and do some yoga to release some of these negative energies. And, don’t forget to expose your crystals to the full moon as it will replenish their energies and fully re-charge. 😀😅🙏🏼
